The Supreme Administrative Court in the Ukraine has issued the Results of Presidential Elections
The Supreme Administrative Court issued the results of the latest Presidential Election last night indicating the victory of the leader of the opposition and the Regions Party Viktor Yanukovitch.
The court issued a statement that the ruling would be temporary until the results of investigations into allegations of fraud are ready.
Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko, Yanukovitch’s opponent, presented her case to the Supreme Court last Tuesday on the grounds that there had been a fraudulent count of votes in her opponents favor.
Reuters has claimed that it is expected that the Supreme Court will issue its ruling by the end of next week.
Although Timoshenko claims that there was fraud in the vote count the court did not accept her appeal today in which she requested that Yanukovitch not be inaugurated as planned.
Parliament had voted last Saturday on allocating February 25th as a date for inaugurating the elected candidate Yanukovitch, and the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry claimed that the ministry had issued invitations on an international level for the attendance of the inauguration.
